So, do you want more kids? Are you having any more? These are questions we get asked, and find ourselves asking each other, quite a lot at this stage of our lives; if the timing feels right to have another baby. Firstly, we want to acknowledge how privileged we are to even have an option to choose to try for another baby, if any at all. For us, we've had many discussions over glasses of wine, cups of coffee, and through voice notes about whether we should have more. If yes, is it the right time? What about work? What about our bodies? Is our age a factor? And the list continues. We unpack all this and more in this new episode. And we hope this very honest and vulnerable conversation provides you with some helpful perspectives. But one thing is for sure... there's never a good time. Just the right time. Hosted on Acast. As we head towards the end of Mental Health Awareness Month, we wanted to do an episode on the ever important topic of Looking After You! But when you're so busy looking after everyone else, how do you factor that time in?It's an overused cliche, but you know the airplane safety video that tells you to fit your oxygen mask before anyone else, because if you've run out of oxygen, no one else is safe? We're here to remind you that if you're not taking care of yourself, then chances are you can't take care of anyone else. Or, you can for a certain amount of time, until you crash.Full Timers will never put themselves first but just like everyone else, we need time for us, we have to make ourselves part of the equation, and find ways to look after yourselves. We'll chat about how, when, and things you can do that give you some breathing space, beyond checking your phone on the toilet. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

When you're full timer, it's easy to put your health last. But when could that cost your health, or life? For Ellie, she let insurance get in the way of checking her skin, and ended up having a melanoma. For Bec, pitches and meetings got in the way of a much needed doctors appointment that resulted in early stages cervical cancer. This is a topic too important to ignore, and in honour of Frocktober, an Ovarian Cancer Research Fund initiative, we're frocking up to tell full timers to please get your , bits and bodies checked, and tell your friends to do the same.A note to listeners: this topic deals with the passing of loved ones so please bear that in mind before listening. https://www.frocktober.org.au/https://www.lachlankeanfoundation.org/about-3 Hosted on Acast. It seems everywhere you look, family, friends and colleagues are being made redundant. And we are no different. Both of us have experienced redundancy in the last 2 years - both having quite different experiences but ultimately feeling exactly the same. Angry and frustrated. Feelings of hopelessness and sadness followed soon after, and it was then we realised we were experiencing the 5 stages of grief. Despite finding amazing new jobs in great agencies, the insecurities remain, questioning our worth and feeling like it could be just around the corner yet again. We want to share our stories with you in the hope that, should you go through a redundancy, you feel heard and seen, and can apply some of the things that got us through it, to help you navigate this time. And if you have been made redundant, you will be ok.
